Apologies if this alternative has been mentioned already - I use Google
Sites.  Our boating website is http://www.destinyvermont.com I was thinking
about using one of the blogs but I don't always get around to posting the
logs of our trips right away.  It looked silly when I was entering
information about a 2009 trip in January of 2012.  They provide a main page
with navigation links and the tools to add text, photos, create sub-pages,
etc.  Works for me.  Feel free to take a look at our site - btw, the
default name will be something like "
http://sites.google.com/site/destinyvermont" I purchase the domain
"destinyvermont" and have it forward it to the google site ...

Best
Peter
