As we approach Memorial Day and honor those who have fallen in service to
our country, we note also the passing of Elaine Wilk, artist and wife of
Arthur Wilk, who founded Arthur's Bakery, a Bellevue institution, serving
generations of people from Vuecrest and the central Bellevue area.  Our
thoughts and prayers are with those near and far who have touched our lives.

United States Flags will be at half-staff in the morning in remembrance of
those who made the supreme sacrifice in service to their country, and raised
to full staff at noon to honor their contribution to our country being the
land of the free and the home of the brave.
