Victims of the lack of acorns? 12 turkeys under feeders now, only one smaller one has a beard, but they have been fighting, pecking, displaying.  Two hens have been coming the past 3 days and spending almost all day feeding, I think 2 different birds as they apparently recognize me as a bearer of corn.  Not usually here in November!

Acorns:  our arborist was just talking about this.  The acorn dearth might reduce squirrel &c. populations (& the ticks), and lure bears out and around more.  The effects may be quite visible.
