Have any of you dealt with the issue of Cross-Deputization between a
municipal police department and a Native American Tribal Police Department?
Our Police Chief would like to enter into such an agreement with a local
Native American tribe that is directly adjacent to the city. Such an
agreement would be mutually beneficial to both the City and the Tribe. Any
pitfalls to look out for? Any one have an MOU or other Agreement documents
that I could look at?
Thanks
