Maredith was a fixture in Newfoundland in the North Central state for at
least 15 years (that's where my memory gets to). She made the Newfoundland
Club of America's quarterly publication, NewfTide to a truly polished,
professional magazine that won numerous awards. She and her husband Sid
founded Emmabay Kennels and owned and bred many champions, obedience
titlists, working titlists and companion dogs. She was hard-working, honest
and a strong booster of the Newfoundland breed.
The club will make a donation to the NCA Health challenge in her name. We
will miss her.
