-->Teresa, Medicine Park already had in place through our economic development Trust Authority a small business loan program. In my experience with them, the forms are very nondescript and not worth passing on, however, I have a friend who is an economic development guy who works for a consulting firm that through this firm is assisting municipalities with setting up a 0% interest revolving loan program. I believe they are donating their expertise pro bono. Please fee free to contact him . Barry Albrecht 806-640-3016. He is very eager to assist anyone that wants to discuss the process. He is staying up to date on all revisions on the business loans through the government as well.

Subject: Re: [Oama] Emergency grants or loans?
As I understand it, the first bill for emergency loans did not include governments. However, public trusts are not governments, they are generally utility businesses and may qualify.
However, I understood that the money was now exhausted. Did anyone get an application in timely to get such a loan/grant?

Subject: [Oama] Emergency grants or loans?
Are any of your cities’ public trusts (or similar entity) doing any kind of emergency grants or loans for COVID-affected businesses (like restaurants and bars)? Or does anyone have an existing loan or grant program for economic development-type purposes that might be adaptable and would be willing to share your documents and policies?
