Eurasian Wigeon (Durham): The bird found by Mark Dorriesfield at Cranberry
Marsh on April 4 continued to at least April 13.
Eurasian Wigeon (Lambton): James Holdsworth found a male outside of Port
Franks on APril 7.

Green-winged Teal (EURASIAN) (Durham): Sam Collins found one at Cranberry
Marsh on April 8 that was seen by many to at least April 9.
Green-winged Teal (EURASIAN x American) (hybrid) (Durham): Adam Capparelli
reported one at Cranberry Marsh on April 11.
Green-winged Teal (EURASIAN x American) (hybrid) (Essex): Jeremy Hatt
photographed a male just outside of Point Pelee on April 8.

TUFTED DUCK x scaup sp (hybrid) (Northumberland): The male found by Robin
Cunningham in Presqu'ile Bay on March 29 continued to at least April 9.
TUFTED DUCK x scaup (hybrid) (Toronto): The male found by Makail
Johannesson at Tommy Thompson Park on January 28 continued to at least
April 13.

Harlequin Duck (multiple): There were continuing birds reported this week
across the province from Durham and Toronto.

Barrow's Goldeneye (Lanark): The Almonte bird remained to at least April 10.

Eared Grebe (Durham): Carol Hamilton photographed one off Hall's Road on
April 9.
Eared Grebe (Essex): Cameron Chevalier reported one at Point Pelee on April
11
Eared Grebe (Middlesex): The bird found by Estela Quintero-Weldon at
Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on April 6 was seen by many to at least April 13.

Western Grebe (Peel): The bird found by Markus Legzdins at J.C. Saddington
Park in Port Credit on March 28 continued to at least April 10.

Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): The bird found by Jeremy Hatt (presumably
the returning bird from at least 2019) near 664 Albuna Townline in
Leamington on March 22 continued to at least April 7.

White-winged Dove (Durham): Charmaine ANderson reported one on Old Simcoe
Rd on April 12.
White-winged Dove (Frontenac): Robert Hickey photographed one in Kingston
on April 8.

Ruff (Norfolk): Mike Poole photographed a Ruff at the Long Point causeway
on April 10 that continued to at least April 13.

Willet (Norfolk): Samuel Perfect reported one from LPBO's Breakwater
station (no public access) on April 8.

Black-headed Gull (Norfolk): Chris Vickerson photographed one at Turkey
Point on April 7.

Great Egret (THUNDER BAY): Allan Gilbert reported one from Thunder Bay on
April 11 that was seen again April 12.

Cattle Egret (Grey): Michael Irwin photographed one from Grey-Bruce Line
near Tara on April 8.

Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to seven birds were reported from Queenston
this week.

SWALLOW-TAILED KITE (Hastings): Billy Askew reported one on Sugar Island
near Tweed on April 11.

LEWIS'S WOODPECKER (Manitoulin): The bird discovered in early January by
the homeowner, Phyllis Caccioti, near Billings continued this week. The
public viewing planned for April 1 has been postponed to April 15; please
contact kiahjasper@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer to help.

Black-billed Magpie (HAMILTON): Ellen and Jerry Horak found one on
Governors Rd in Dundas on April 12 that was seen by many.
Black-billed Magpie (WELLINGTON): Angela Healey photographed one on Sdrd 20
between Jones Baseline and Wellington 29 near Guelph on April 11.

Lark Sparrow (Manitoulin): Douglas Carter reported one from a private
residence on Burnt Island Rd on April 8.

LeConte's Sparrow (Grey): Brian Cromie reported one from Bognor Marsh
Management Area on April 6.

Henslow's Sparrow (Essex): Steve Pike found one near the tip of Point Pelee
on April 4 that was seen by several others the same day.
