To the BOD—can someone look at the camera to see if there are nails being left in the street??
Seems very suspect they so many people have had issues with nails in their tires.
Per my husband, the man that lives there was shining a bright light on the camera to block video being taken.

?? Residents of April Dawn??
The block party will begin around 5:30 when the band plays. We'd like to
close off the street so we can set up lawn games, table and chairs for
everyone to hang out.
Please reply back to me, privately, if needed, if this will be a problem.
If your driveway is on April Dawn, you can park your car on Overlook Ridge

Just based on the math, that would mean 7% have had an issue, which is beyond coincidence and seems a little suspect. I think we may need to look at the cameras, but to be safe I may take the long way around.

Just to put this out there, my daughter rides the bus sometimes, and today,
a high schooler who lives on the street outside the gate, told the bus
driver and some kids that her neighborhood had signed a "petition" to make
Limestone residents stop using their street. Since the gate is still in
use, she said the Limestone residents "deserve everything they got and will
get in the future." This comes through a teenager filter of course, but it
sounds like our favorite gate guy may not be the only one with a grudge.

Well I guess it was already obvious he's willing to use intimidation and
harassment to try and deter us from using the gate. I suppose it's no
surprise he may try and toss a few nails out there. Rumor has it some
teenagers on the high school bus with ties to the adjacent neighbors have
confirmed some nefarious intent (again, High School gossip and rumor so
take it for what it's worth).
I don't know what the right answer is, but I'd sure like to find a way to
shut down these shenanigans. Surely there is a legal means to gather
evidence and put an end to criminal and destructive activity. In the mean
time I will use the gate, drive slowly, and look for foreign objects in the
road.

Tom Angotti said that they have viewed the video, but didn't see anything. It would be fairly easy to do something out of view of cameras.
Our best bet may be to go for walk or jog thru that neighborhood and take a look at the streets. It's not proof, but it is additional evidence. I may go jogging this weekend and check it out.

In the mean
time I will use the gate, drive slowly, and look for foreign objects in the
road.

I think it would be interesting to get a roofer's magnet tool that roofers
use to go around houses after a new room is installed and pick up all
nails, and walk the street outside the gate just to see how many nails are
scattered through that area......

Just to put this out there, my daughter rides the bus sometimes, and
today,
a high schooler who lives on the street outside the gate, told the bus
driver and some kids that her neighborhood had signed a "petition" to
make
Limestone residents stop using their street. Since the gate is still in
use, she said the Limestone residents "deserve everything they got and
will
get in the future." This comes through a teenager filter of course, but
it
sounds like our favorite gate guy may not be the only one with a grudge.

I go walking almost every morning I am here and thought I would go look this morning and check for nails. I couldn't see where to activate the gate but someone was leaving and their vehicle activated it. Didn't see any nails. I don't mind looking to start my walk but I am going to have to learn how to activate the gate on foot and just as importantly get back in. Also stopped this morning on the way to Boerne and scouted around. We might all leave a minute earlier to stop and look before driving through the "zone." I understand the ladies might not want to do this, so maybe the guys can.

Just based on the math, that would mean 7% have had an issue, which is
beyond coincidence and seems a little suspect. I think we may need to look

I don't know what the right answer is, but I'd sure like to find a way to

?? Residents of April Dawn??
The block party will begin around 5:30 when the band plays. We'd like to
close off the street so we can set up lawn games, table and chairs for
everyone to hang out.
Please reply back to me, privately, if needed, if this will be a problem.
If your driveway is on April Dawn, you can park your car on Overlook Ridge
or at the bottom of April Dawn/Limestone Pass. A better idea....leave the
car in the garage and come join us for the block party in front of The
Cooper's home.
See you then!

April Dawn will have a set up and the Armstrongs/Renkens were interested
in setting up a block party near their houses at the beginning of Limestone
Pass (near gate).
Talk to your immediate neighbors and organize something simple and invite
us all to stop by. The idea is to get everyone out and stroll around our
beautiful neighborhood to meet new neighbors.
Please reply asap because we are talking just 2 weeks away. If we have
just these 2 parties listed above, then, we'll see have 2 fabulous parties.
