Just a brief word. Measure your air draft yourself.
Don't take anybody's word for it.
When you measure it make sure you are holding the smart end of the tape, not the dumb end.

Not cruisin' in Canada, I hadn't thought of this until today, but in those
parts I've been told that they use metric. So if going to Canada or other
so inclined countries, might want to have your air draft configured for
meters, maybe even centimeters.

Don't believe what a bridge tender (or anyone else) tells you - measure
it yourself. It's easy enough to do.

We once had a bridge tender in Daytona tell us our air draft was 19 feet
as we were going through the opening (she didn't want to open the bridge
for us) when in fact we're 22ft 6in (we call it 23 ft)!
