Hi all,

This is a great blog and thanks for keeping it up!  Sinclair, you might also
want to look at the Pacific Expedition 45 (www.pacificexpedition.com), it
looks like a great boat and my initial information requests from the gents
there were quite positive.  I'm new to the power cat scene but this boat
looks fantastic.

Sinclair,
this is pretty close to your spec....http://mecat.com/power/powerspecs.htm
doesn't carry as much fuel as your spec but with 5+ nmpg <9 knots
(http://mecat.com/power/powerspecs.htm),  you'll get the range, we'll see if
real world figues stack up, but that's measured data, not projections.
might have to slow down when working in real seas.  Not a proven Nordy, but
their sailboats have an excellent reputation for build quality.

looks like there is a flybridge option, not sure if you spec'd smaller hp
diesels would help range or not.  maybe a bit of weight savings could be
converted in increased fuel carriage.  As some else suggested, with a water
maker you could carry less water and more fuel.
