Hi Larry, You might consider going to Xmas Island instead of or before Fanning. The last I heard you can get some diesel there. It's a large Island with a big airport & they have fuel for their generating plant. It would be a much better bet than Fanning for fuel; then you can also visit Fanning & Palmyra as you go North. You'l have to anchor off as the channel isn't deep enough for most vessels.
