Ontario Rare Bird Alert July 24-30, 2020

Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): This bird has been present for months
now northwest of Leamington on Albuna Townline near the intersection
with Mersea Rd 7. A second bird has been observed sporadically and was seen
yesterday (July 30).
White-winged Dove (Chatham-Kent): This long-staying bird has been
present since April at Rondeau along Lakeshore Road south of the visitor
centre (vicinity of address 17272).
Western Sandpiper (Hamilton): An adult was found last evening (July 30) at
Windermere Basin.
Dickcissel (Lambton): at least one at the Sarnia former landfill; no
reports from sites in Essex or Chatham-Kent this week.
