This kiln was custom made and in working condition when we received it. It does require a hoyer to lift the top. The controller and wiring would need to be reconnected. The kiln was used for the full temp range needed in fusing or slumping. It is heavy, but has rollers, and it will need a truck with a lift gate to move it. The only reason we did not use it was because our garage (very old) would not be able to support the weight of the hoyer and lid.
