Olympia and Seattle); and siting of the Tacoma Art Museum and the LeMay
Museum to their present locations. Go Tacoma! Come down and celebrate his

"GOLDEN AGE" - JUSTIN GIBBENS
"Golden Age" explores the mythology surrounding the origins of bee
reproduction and honey, long-believed to be "born of a dead ox". The
centerpiece of the show is a magnificent gilded cow skeleton. The show
includes an illustrated alphabet, "Peaceable Kingdom" painted in gouache on
found Arabic and Sanskrit manuscript pages (gouache is the same medium used
in ancient Persian miniatures). Justin Gibbens is an eastern
Washington-based artist and a founding member of PUNCH projects in Seattle.
Show runs through Sept. 9, 2018. For more information, email
