Fred Kordalewski,

There aren't any drains, scuppers, hoses or thru hulls.  It's a hard core ocean boat built for rough seas, and there is no place for water to collect.  The only exception is the small "back porch" area which collects water only when the boat is tilted, and that water when frozen, simply pops loose.  I bail it on warm days and shovel snow the other days.  Freezing water is not an issue.

Fred, I just saw your latest pic of the dock project and noticed the snow on your boat.  I'm wondering how you deal with the snow melting and freezing and its effects on your scuppers, hoses to drains, drains and thru hulls.  Do you take any precautions to avoid them cracking?  Thanks.

Auk, Kady Krogen Manatee, crossed her wake today in Blackwater Sound, Key Largo, FL.
Ken, Ellen, and our yellow Lab, Rosie did each of the 9096 miles. There were lots of enjoyable side trips....and it only took 7 years.
