Stabalized binoculars

Why we choose the Fujinon vs other brand IS Binoculars:

We had an opportunity to compare the various Canon, Fujinon, Nikon and
Bushnell Binoculars stabalized binoculars side by side in one store.  The
Fujinon 14 x40 have the widest degree of stabalization (5 degrees) the Fujinon
12 x 32 and Nikons have slightly over 3 degrees and the Canon have slightly
under 1 degree stabalization.  Practically this means that you can have a
wider deviation from the axis straight at the object you are viewing and it
will be stabalized with the wider stabalization degree.  Practical Sailor gave
the nod to the Fujinon in their review of stabalized binoculars.

The Canon, Nikon and Fujinon are all excellent binoculars, and I have several
expensive Canon Image Stabalized telephoto camera lenses which I am very happy
with.  I am not sure what the differences are, but Fujinon also has some
stabilized binoculars which cost in the $5,000 range--must be something really
super, and I suspect way beyond what my worn out eyes can appreciate!
