_"Musicks Divine Language" and "Les Voix Humaines"

_      In 1676, Thomas Mace remarked: "I have been more Sensibly,
Fervently, and Zealously Captivated, and drawn into Divine Raptures, and
Contemplations, by Those Unexpressible Rhetorical, Uncontroulable
Perswasions, and Instructions of Musicks Divine Language."

LES VOIX HUMAINES builds on decades of performances worldwide, and
many prizes and recordings, bringing flair and brilliance and telepathic
communion to their virtuoso performances, during these last two decades
with Susie Napper and Mélisande Corriveau, both playing on historic
viols from around 1700 by London luthier, Barak Norman.

"Bach and Telemann: The Chaconne with Les Voix Humaines"
demonstrates the chaconne at it's most poignant, transports works by
Johann Sebastian Bach to an entirely new level of accessibility through
transcriptions of well known works, and features the pardessus de viol
and the remarkable but rarely heard repertoire for two viola da gambas,
flute and harpsichord. Please check out the website for more
information, and we hope to see you on the 24rd at 7 PM at Mason Church!
