Save the Date: Upcoming Sustainable Living Events

Mark your calendars for three community events coming up August 11th, 13th,
and 15th, in Parkland. These three events are free and all are welcome
and encouraged to attend as we build a network of passionate and skilled
sustainable living practitioners in the South Puget Sound. Thanks to Divine
Earth Gardening Project, the PLU Sustainability Office, and the North West
EcoBuilding Guild South Sound Chapter for co-sponsoring these events.

From Roof to Tap: rainwater catchment *

Permaculture Design Presentations

PLU Scandinavian Cultural Center
Come learn from the Permaculture class’s final projects: sustainability
applied to sites around Parkland!

This series is only a small piece of the concurrently running full Parkland
Permaculture Design Course hosted by Divine Earth Gardening Project which
runs Aug 3-15th. For more information check out

For those of you who made it this far but haven't quite heard of
Permaculture before, here are a few definitions: "permanent-agriculture",
"design systems for sustainable and regenerative human habitat", "the
cutting edge of 10,000 year old technologies",or also "common sense".
