Hello Boaters My husband, yellow lab and I are looking for information on the Tennessee River and Tenn/Tom Waterway in the spring time. Our 36' trawler is wintering over at Grand Turtle Bay so we would depart from there. Are there any voices of experience that can give us advice on "timing" issues and "don't miss" stops. In particular, we would like to know on what date we can expect to depart Turtle Bay (flooding? weather?). We are retired so we can be fairly spontaneous.
