We travel long passages, and the 57 has longer range than the 50. Also, it is heavier and has a longer water line and still has the bulbos bow. This gives the 57 better handling in rough water and greater speed. The 57 appears to have a better A/B ratio than some of the newer Nordhavns, like the 55. It also has superior mechanical systems to some of the other models, in my opinion. Most important, Gail gets a dedicated sewing table in the custom layout of the master stateroom.
