Not a bad idea, but I wonder how much the pressure differential would affect
the apparent oil level. There is bound to be a difference depending on the
crankcase pressure.

By modifying the dipstick tube to extend down into the crankcase below
the top turbulent oil level, one can eliminate the splashing effect and
check the oil with the dipstick as is normal. No need for a Murphy
gauge that may void a warranty.
