I have a gimini , binacle mount compass that has the dome broken. Is it
worth repairing and if so where do i send it and could you give me an estimate.
Thanks Joe

Sorry, I don't know specifics....If its plastic body rather than metal, it's
probably better to get a new one...but if the body is metal the dome may be
plastic and if you can get in replaced with a glass dome that a repairman has
saved from an older unit you'll have one that's good for thirty years...Best to
keep all of them out of freezing weather...

I can get a repairman name/tel # on City Island NY if you want, but I have
the info on my boat....

regards,
Rob Brueckner
