Artwork Statement: "My new piece, Weathervane for Brainstorms, was inspired by an antique ruler of my grandfather's. I've always loved the old whimsical numbering on the worn wood and the intricate tiny brass hinge that opens and closes it. I'm making an enormous version that is sprouting tree roots and growing across the wall.
