FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 25th, 2025

The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present Weathervane for Brainstorms, by Sarah Fetterman at Auburn's Art on Main window-front gallery, on view April 19th - July 6th, 2025.

Artwork Statement:

"My new piece, Weathervane for Brainstorms, was inspired by an antique ruler of my grandfather's. I've always loved the old whimsical numbering on the worn wood and the intricate tiny brass hinge that opens and closes it. I'm making an enormous version that is sprouting tree roots and growing across the wall. It's a playful piece, but also a means to continue a relationship with someone who has passed away."
