The Official Words:
Under normal conditions there is approximately 5 feet of water in the Rideau
Canal. Operators of vessels whose draft exceeds 4 feet should contact lock
staff or the Superintendent, Rideau Canal at (613) 283-5171 before
considering navigation of the Rideau Canal.

I am hoping that somebody has either gone through the Richelieu River this

water depth.
