The City of Tacoma is seeking volunteers to encourage recycling at the Freedom Fair on July 4th along Ruston Way.
We will have two recycling stations set up near the food vendors. We are looking for individuals at least 16 years of age to monitor the stations and educate and remind fair-goers about recycling their cans and bottles and not contaminating the recycle bins with garbage. As a thank you, the City will provide each volunteer with a $7 food voucher to be redeemed at several food booths.
