Hey Tacoma Teens!

We are currently looking for photographers to join the Teens In Tacoma
group! In case you are not familiar with Teens In Tacoma here is a short
summary:

Purpose: To reveal the artistic potential of teenagers in Tacoma, while
extending a museum’s long-term benefits to artists who are not always
expressed in a holistic way

Need: Teenagers are not always highlighted, or included in artistic
projects, or artistic viewings. Art museums, especially are not always
advertised to teenagers. With our project, teenagers can only benefit from
the networks and connections they will build.

Short term: To establish a point in Tacoma where Teens can offer their
artistry to a greater cause.

Long-term:  Build connections with other teen artists, extend networks,
change the perception of an art museum’s audience, and to inspire others to
build ideas for Tacoma.

The photographer's role on the Teens In Tacoma group would be to take
high-quality photos of artwork, the people we interview. We are looking for
passionate teens, who want to help us create a stage for teen artists.

If you are interested in this role or have any questions email us at
teensintacoma@gmail.com
