Maurice, I regard your posts as some of the lists most valuable. I'm a bit taken back by the statements concerning others experience and thoughts. You yourself have never deployed your chute? I admire you for being out there "doing it" and as I said I appreciate your contributions. I also respect and admire Peter and John, (obviously a member of the NAR). I'd like to encourage the free flow of informaition rather than squelch it. As long as a person makes their true experience known, I see no problem with them sharing their ideas. I wonder if Bob Austin has ever deployed a sea anchor? He has more experience than just about anyone else on the list. I wonder if you could share with us how you would make the decision the time was right to deploy? Do you have a set of conditions in mind that causes you to change tactics and deploy the chute?
