I have always put a LCD display over my bunk, which has depth, Wind speed, Wind direction, GPS off course and compass heading. The display had alarms which could be set. This way, in the middle of the night, if at anchor or underway, I awoke, I could rapidly check on the critical numbers. Bob Austin
