Harlequin Duck in East Haven

An adult male Harlequin Duck was at the East Haven Town Beach this morning, feeding near the rocks to the west (right) of the beach.  It seemed to be associating with a female Common Goldeneye.  This is probably the same bird that was seen in this area by Steve M. et al on the New Haven CBC in mid-December.  It was at an inaccessible/private location at that time, but is more accessible now.
