The Public Affairs Officer for the Mobile District of the Corps of Engineers gave me this link () to get their notices. This particular closure notice dated 5 July 2013 is under "Gulf Intracoastal Waterway - Florida." The notice on there @ 1555 CDT only tells you it is closed. The PAO told me she had been given 20 July as the re-open date, while our local TV news director was given "end of the month." I would assume there will be no issue with this passage by the time the fall migration of loopers begins and probably well before then. Rich Gano
