This workshop is specifically designed to create deep, lasting connections among women business owners in Tacoma. A significant portion of the workshop is devoted to small group discussions of our business needs, goals, and fears. This workshop is appropriate for anyone who craves deeper connections within their local business community, who wants to get help in their business or careers, and especially for those who don't like - or get much out of - traditional "networking" events. Allison Stewart Bishins and Tiffany Burke will start us off with a discussion about why, and how, we can support other women-owned and run businesses. Lynda Lopez will lead us in an exercise on how to harness professional jealousy to move ourselves forward. Then we will mingle and dive into our Nurture Groups! Light snacks will be served. Attendees should be women (self identifying) 18+ or 14+ with an adult. This workshop is open to all women in business in Tacoma, artist, makers, lawyers, caterers, managers, dreamers... Come as you are! Please note this is not a kid-friendly event and there is no on-site childcare.
