Mac,
Yes, in the morning they will open all the vales at Lock 7 and my section
of canal will drain into the natural river section, leaving my boat and
docks high & dry. They'll be shivering when the temp drops to 28 degrees
below zero, but no ice damage.
There will still be a small channel full of water about a hundred yards
from the dock.
