Hi Georgs: Thanks for the reminder for an update. Since 2001 we have been  on
Lake Ontario. After 9/11 we decided to return to Canada. Looking back into
our log we did all the Great Lakes except for Ontario ( other than From
Kingston  to Oswego). So far we have traversed all the Canadian side and this year we
plan  to all of the US side. It is surprising to us that some folks know of
us and  recognize the Indifference. Our 1979 MT 44 is still in pristine
condition and  its classic looks (teak and all) sure brings out the oohs and ahhs
from  shoreside people ( this is because of my wifes dedicated effort). I pretty
well  concentrate on the inside and engine room.  We are certainly enjoying
inland cruising without having to worry about long term weather reports.
However  we do keep a watchful eye as coastal and harbour is definitely more
stressful  than the wide open ocean. For those members of this list our call sign is
VB  6232 INDIFFERENCE on the VHF (the SSB and Ham is not used any more). Our
cell  phone is 289-213-5759 ( imagine that I never thought we would have one)
but it  does come in handy. The significant change in our outside appearance is
that the flopperstopper apparatus has been removed. There is no siginificant
change inside as we continue to navigate DR except for a lonely GPS to give
us  SOG. Please hail us if you see us. Regards. Leonard Stern, MTOA #893,
