Yea Joel for your rescue!! They pay us back , 10 fold. My newfy, Theodore, ( Teddy) has a great groomer in the St Cloud area ( not certain where Somerset is). Although the house has air and lots of shade, I did shave him last summer for the first time...and this amazingly happy dog showed up..he just seemed SO much happier in his body..then I let it grow again..Good luck!! Where in St Cloud do you have a newfie groomer? Do they do show grooming?
