Mail Fwd Service

We used a company called EARTHCLASS MAIL...

How they work is rather novel.. in that we had all of our first class mail
forwarded to their location, where it is received and the exterior of the
envelope is scanned front and back, and you get an email telling you that there
is mail waiting for you to inspect.

You then log onto their site, using a password, and view the various items
of mail.  If it's not something you are interested in, have em shred  it or
recycle it.  No charge.

If you want it shipped to you they will do that at your request and you pay
shipping costs.  OR if you just want to see what's in the envelope, have  THEM
scan it.  You then go back to their site the next day and you can  download
the scan to your computer.  You can save it, or print it out,  whatever you
desire.

If you want that mail preserved for later shipment to you, have them  archive
it.  If not, you can then have them shred or recycle it, no  charge.
Remember you now have a printable copy of it on your computer,  where you can access
it at anytime.

Using this system, and my on line banking, I was able to get and then pay
any unexpected bills that came in by mail w/o any problems.

They have various levels of service, with various amounts of free (included
in basic price) scans.  If you go over that amount of pages it can be  pretty
pricey.

THEY GIVE YOU AN ESTIMATE OF HOW MANY PAGES ARE IN EACH ENVELOPE SO YOU CAN
MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE EM SCAN SOME DOOFY BOOKLET YOUR STOCKBROKER SENT  YA.
I SAY THAT AFTER I MADE THAT GOOF... and that was the last time I made  that
mistake.

Check em out.. it works.. quite well.  When we got home, I had em ship  all
of our archived mail to us.

EARTHCLASS MAIL

please note that other than us being a client of their, we have NO
connection to them at all.

If you are wanting to make the address your state of residence, I don't believe you can use this cause it is only a PO box.? You must have a street address to use as your residence for income tax purposes.

Subject: Re: GL: Mail Fwd Service

You could be right.  But lots of people do.  And successfully.

If you are wanting to make the address your state of residence, I don't
believe you can use this cause it is only a PO box.? You must have a
street
address to use as your residence for income tax purposes.

It is my understanding that a lot of these places will let you address item
to "Apartment xyz" instead of "Po Box XYZ" with their street address, and
thereby using it as a physical address as well as po box. The IRS probably
won't drive to the address to check it out.

Many of you have traveled up the Tennessee River and passed through Wilson Lake above Wilson Lock which is north of Florence, AL.? This happened Thursday night about 8:30 when a tug pushing two barges hit a 32' cruiser.

believe you can use this <<

We use a local UPS package store and they have personal mailboxes vs. PO
boxes.
The address is Suite 209, #324 vs. a PO Box #.  This seems to satisfy all
people and
is not really considered a PO box.

For reasons that are too long to get into here I have a post office box as
my mailing address and I didn't want my physical address appearing in their
records. The provincial Motor Vehicle Branch said that wasnt sufficient and
I needed a physical location on file with them. So, I gave them the address
where the post office box was located. They don't know that and I am not
about to tell them so everyone is happy.

For example, my home is at 123 ABC St
My mailing address is Box 123
French Fry PO
Some city Alberta
The address I gave them is  345 XYZ Ave
Some city Alberta
(This is the address of French fry PO)

Not sure if that will work for you but it could be worth looking into.

Do you realize that in about 40 years we will have thousands of old ladies
running around with tattoos and pierced navels?
