Furuno vs RayMarine "wireless Radar"

I have also always considered Furuno a first class product.

My current boat came with up to date RayMarine Axion system, so when I added Radar, it was an easy chore, to pull the  power cable (about 1/4” diameter) thru a 1 1/2“ pipe radar arch already filled with other cables.  The RayMarine connection was inside of the dome.

The RayMarine radar is wireless to the MFD display, and then the display can be mimicked  on the I pad via wi fi.  Our use is slightly different, in that at night or fog, my wife will be watching the radar on the I pad (and the chart plotter or sounder if indicated), and I will have have eyes on the water, with only an occasional glance at the chart or sounder as I am at the helm.
