Hello Pierre aboard YUM YUM,
In the recent past you've given us some pretty good info in relation to your
search for your ideal power cat. It appears as though you did a pretty
thorough job.
If you have time, I would be interested to hear or see a short check list of
positives and negatives on each model you looked at. We on this list must
realize that some of these items are personal preferences by you, but I
thought it might be interesting to hear of them.
I would be particularily interested to hear of your other evaluations of the
Lagoon 43 vessel other than its 'wet nature'. Layout likes and dislikes,
etc,etc
At a time in my past I was involved with the selling of the Stiletto
catamarans. We probably sold over 50% of their production. With the coming of
new owners to the brand, there came a desire to expand the range of models.
They had recently prototyped a new 30 model that attempted to address the need
for a larger vessel for 'family times'. However it was a bit expensive for the
times and just a larger 'daysailer'.
The brand new 23' was being proposed, but I was fighting it as inappropraite
for the market. I kept telling the principals to come to the boat shows, and
while you attempt to sell your product, LISTEN between the lines to WHAT THE
CUSTOMER IS REALLY LOOKING FOR. I like to listen to the customer....don't
always take his advice, but I am willing to listen.
