Bob, its beam relative to length, if the boat is not long enough, its like not
having enough beam, it becomes diagonally unstable and will tend to pitch
more, not pitch pole which is when the boat flips head over heels. I'm not
saying the narrow beam boats are unsafe, my point is that they would be better
boats with more beam and offer the true advantages of a catamaran.
