“Food in Art” Activities Coming Up!

The exhibit “Food in Art,” on display in The Gallery at Tacoma Community College through March 16, comes with plenty of related activities. Here are a few coming up soon:

Poetry Reading: Music, Food, and Love

Michael Magee is the coordinator for the Poetry Box at Freighthouse Square. His most recent books include Vanishing Points: From Ballarat to Ravenna Park, and Dementia: Love is a Blur. Join Michael for inspirational reading on music, food, and love in poetry. Bring a poem!

Building 4 at Tacoma Community College, The Gallery is located near the corner of 12th and Mildred. Visitor parking is available in Lot G. Free admission. Hours are Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on days the college is open. The Gallery is also open until 8 p.m. for Third Thursday.
