Call to Environmental Artists/Craftspeople
Goods for the Planet is having a market in their store and parking lot on the last Saturday of July, July 25th, to feature local artists & craftspeople who make their products from recycled or organic materials. The event will take place from 10am to 6pm. We are located at prefix = st1 /525 Dexter Ave North, just 4 blocks east of the Space Needle on the SW corner of Dexter and Mercer. We have excellent exposure from Aurora Avenue, Dexter Avenue and Mercer Street.
To participate please send a brief explanation of you art/craft to info@goodsfortheplanet.com. If you have any questions you can call us at 206-652-2327. Space is limited to 20 spaces. If you are chosen you will be required to provide a $20 deposit and sign a release of liability form. No additional fees will be required. You are welcome to offer your products for sale and/or demonstrate your craft. You should bring anything you need to set up a maximum 10’ x 10’ space, including tables and canopy.
We plan to have additional markets in the future, usually on the last Saturday of the month in conjunction with the Sew-up-Seattle sewing class and fabric swap, which takes place in our resource rooms.
We look forward to hearing from you and admiring your talents!
