Outrageous tax? I believe that it is $300 for two entries in 90 days for a boat over 35 feet. Yes it is a tax--but you can spend that much on a hotel room or dinner and drinks if you want. You have to put fees in third world countries into prospective. It will end up costing you this much to go to Mexico etc. Fees pay for the few navigation aids, salaries, and mainatance. If you don't want to pay the fees, just don't go there! No sympathy--sorry. It is the cost of "doing business" --and smile when you pay! Bob Austin
