Hi there, I just wanted to post a couple quick "business" points. 1. Birdnews/Ontbirds issues for Bell.net and Sympatico.ca addresses. We are aware of issues for subscribers with email addresses with Bell.net and sympatico.ca domains (i.e. your email address ends with one of those). Subscribers have reported that they have stopped receiving emails and/or been automatically unsubscribed from one or both lists. This is an issue on Bell/Sympatico's end but we're working on trying to figure out a solution. Please bear with us. I realize the irony of sending this email out and that the people impacted likely won't receive it... 2. Updates to Birdnews/Ontbirds rules a) For Birdnews, any posts that aren't bird sightings are to be posted on Tuesdays only (time sensitive may be posted any time). All such posts must still be sent to the Birdnews Moderators (birdnews@ontbirds.ca) for pre-approval. b) The OFO board has decided that posts or links promoting personal projects or products are not to be posted on either list. **This includes links in email signatures**. These can be considered on a case-by-case basis by emailing the Birdnews moderators (birdnews@ontarbirds.ca) who will forward it to the board for a decision.
