February 7th! Art Sci presentation on Climate Change at TAM + SPEED DATING

Hello All!

Happy 2019 to all of you and hope you had a restful break.

We at Art Sci have a slew of events planned this semester and the first one is as exciting as they come.

Artist Mary Coss and Scientist Roger Fuller will present their work - "Silent Salinity"

Silent Salinity explores the relationship between water, global warming and culture. It It examines the ecological and socioeconomic implications of declining river flows and rising sea level in our local estuaries.

the 950 Gallery 950 Pacific Ave. Suite 205 1-6pm. (runs until Feb 21).

Following the talk, we will host a special Speed Dating Event where we hope that artists, scientists and other interdisciplinary thinkers will get the opportunity to meet each other, brainstorm and create connections to find solutions or highlight the challenges we face with Climate Change.

The event will be on February 7th, Thursday, at the Tacoma Art Museum

630-700pm Presentation

700-740pm Speed Dating

740 pm -800pm Debrief and mingle more
