A municipality that I represent is wanting to create a public trust to own and operate their golf course. The property is in the City's name but it has been managed by a non-profit for 30 or 40 years under a long-term lease. They are undergoing some changes and everyone feels like a public trust would be a good option. I have limited experience is setting up a public trust, especially for these purposes.
