Steve,
Lost a woman overboard three years ago doing a night crossing of the Gulf of
Mexico. The wind was dead calm. Had to turn the engine off to hear her.
Apparently went right passed her several times but never saw her. In the
morning the wind freshened, and it took two more hours to find her, then three
and one-half hours to get her aboard. I was quite lucky to get her back.
PRACTICE this yourselves.

Tommy - please elaborate. What kind of boat? How did
she go overboard? How was the helm notified? What took
so long to get her back aboard? You must have a wealth
of 'lesson's learned,' I think we would all be very
interested to hear the rest of the story.....
