Sewage Lagoons on August 25 and continued until at least August 27.
Marbled Godwit (Huron): A single bird was present at Exeter Sewage Lagoons
on August 23 and 26.
Marbled Godwit (Lambton): A single bird continued at Hiawatha Horse Park in
Sarnia until August 24.
Red Knot (Chatham-Kent): A single bird continued August 21-27 at Keith
McLean Conservation Area just outside of Rondeau.
Red Knot (Norfolk): Two birds were present at Turkey Point August 21-24
Red Knot (Lennox and Addington): A single bird was at the Amherstview
Sewage Lagoons on August 24.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Simcoe): Up to 4 birds were present in the sod
fields near Beeton August 23- 26.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Haldimand): One bird was present between Mount
Hope and Caledonia August 22 and 23.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Brant): One bird was present along Concession Rd 5
northwest of Burford on August 23.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Norfolk): One bird was present at Turkey Point
August 22-24.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Ottawa): One bird was present at Andrew Haydon
Park on August 23.
Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Essex): One bird was at West Cranberry Pond in
Point Pelee National Park on August 25.
Willet (Norfolk): One bird continued at Turkey Point August 21-22.
Long-tailed Jaeger (Niagara): A juvenile was seen off Fort Erie August 27.
Laughing Gull (Niagara): A juvenile was seen at Fort Erie August 27.
Franklin's Gull (Lambton): An adult was seen at Hiawatha Horse Park in
Sarnia on August 26.
Mew Gull (Niagara): A possible juvenile was seen and photographed off Fort
Erie on August 27.
Frigatebird sp. (Elgin): A second-hand report was received of a large, all
black bird with a long, forked tail soaring west along the Port Stanley
lake shore on August 25.
Brown Booby (Durham, Toronto): One bird was seen at a few locations off
Durham on August 24 and then reported again off Tommy Thompson Park
(Toronto) on August 26.
Neotropic Cormorant (Hamilton): A single bid was photographed off Van
Wagners Beach on August 26.
Plegadis ibis sp. (Peel): A single bird was seen in flight in Streetsville
on August 27.
Swallow-tailed Kite (Huron): One bird was reported along the lake shore
just north of Goderich on August 21.
Western Kingbird (Durham): A few lucky observers saw this bird near
Darlington Nuclear on the afternoon and evening of August 22.
White-eyed Vireo (Chatham-Kent): A single singing bird was at South Point
Trail in Rondeau Provincial Park on August 21 and 23.
