Dear Neighbors,

As many of your know, there are plans being made for the redevelopment of
two large properties to the east of our neighborhood. Two meetings have been
set up for us to learn about these proposals, answer our questions, and hear
our feedback.

Sumiyoshi

The Sumiyoshi apartment complex, located immediately northeast of Vuecrest's
east entrance and across 100th from homes on Belfair Road were purchased
last year by Continental Properties (http://www.continentalseattle.com/).
They are working on a proposal with Studio Meng Strazzara
(http://www.studioms.com/) and have arranged a meeting to share this with
Vuecrest and other neighbors. I will be checking on the preliminary plans at
City Hall, but I have been told that their proposal includes extending into
the setback, towards 100th.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:30pm at the Bellevue
Club (11200 SE 6th St).

Fortin Group

The Fortin Group (owners of the QFC property and another parcel directly
north of it) has updated the proposal that they shared with Vuecrest last
summer, enhancing some of the open spaces and walkways. Per our request,
they also have performed a shadow study.

A meeting to share this with the Vuecrest neighborhood will be held on
Thursday, April 30th at 6:30pm at the Fortin Group offices (10112 NE 10th
St).

I will write up a summary of these meetings and share with the neighborhood,
but I hope that we will have good attendance to represent Vuecrest.

Sincerely,

    -Jonathan
