The inaugural Big Sit at Flanders Nature Center Van Vleck Preserve in Woodbury yielded 36 species in 4 hours of Sitting last Saturday. Pretty good for an inland site; highlights were Merlin and adult Bald Eagle, the rest were the usual suspects. Beautiful and peaceful morning, hope to get a few folks to join me next year. https://ebird.org/checklist/S400989800 Chris Chris S.
