Idlewild 04/08/06: Snorkeling in the Bandas of Indonesia

Hatta wind 0 to 15 kts in the last 24, a lot of
rain showers stopped while we were snorkeling
Crew                          Ben, Brad, Kevin & Jim Farrell
Goal:                          Palau in 7 days

Remarks:

Stopped at Pulau Hatta one of the Banda Islands
which were some of the original Spice Islands
(nutmeg).  No spices on Hatta but reported the
best for snorkeling which the crew did with
Sidekick while the captain held Idlewild clear of
the reefs.

Friendly local fishermen.  Beautiful beaches and
hillsides with perfectly clear warm water.
