BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK (Niagara): The long-staying bird remained at
Dufferin Islands to at least November 23.
GREEN-WINGED TEAL (EURASIAN) (Toronto): The male continued at G. Ross Lord
Park November 20-24.
King Eider (Toronto): A female was off Tommy Thompson Park November 21 and
23.
Harlequin Duck (Algoma): A female-type bird was photographed off Whitefish
Island November 20.
Harlequin Duck (Durham): The male continued off the Thickson's Point area
at least to November 22.
Harlequin Duck (Greater Sudbury): The female-type bird remained at Fielding
Memorial Park to at least November 24.
Harlequin Duck (Lambton): A female was off Sarnia between Point Edward and
the Bluewater Bridge November 21-25.
Harlequin Duck (Simcoe): A young male was photographed in Collingwood
Harbour November 25.
Harlequin Duck (THUNDER BAY): The adult male remained off Terrace Bay, at
least to November 19.
Harlequin Duck (Toronto): A female continued near Ontario Place to at least
November 21.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Grey): An adult male has returned to the Owen Sound
harbour area as of November 24.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Hastings): A male was photographed off Zwick's Park in
Belleville November 24.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Ottawa): One bird remained along the Rideau River
around Strathcona Park/the Rideau Tennis Club.
Barrow's Goldeneye (Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry): A female was seen
again this week from the Long Sault Parkway off the Mille Roches Island
causeway, November 24.
Western Grebe (Huron/Lambton): One bird was photographed off Pinery
Provincial Park NOvember 21 and then presumably the same bird was off Grand
Bend November 24 and 25.
Eurasian Collared-Dove (Cochrane): One bird was reported from a feeder in
Matheson November 19-20.
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD (Halton): An adult female, found earlier this fall was
seen by many observers in Oakville near Sedgewick Forest Park all week.
RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD (Lambton): An adult female, found earlier this fall was
seen by many observers at 7355 Confederation Line, Watford all week.
Purple Sandpiper (Halton): One bird was briefly at Burloak Park November 20.
RAZORBILL (Hamilton): One bird was reported flying past Grays Rd in Stoney
Creek November 20.
Black-legged Kittiwake (Toronto): A juvenile bird was photographed at Tommy
Thompson Park November 20.
CALIFORNIA GULL (Essex): An adult or near adult was photographed and seen
by many at Seacliff Park in Leamington November 20 and then reported again
November 22.
Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Up to two birds were reported this week from Barrie.
NORTHERN GANNET (Chatham-Kent): A juvenile bird was seen off Rondeau
Provincial Park November 24.
NORTHERN GANNET (Lambton): A juvenile was tracked from Ipperwash Beach to
Point Edward before it disappeared north on November 22. It was seen again
briefly off Point Edward November 23.
Cattle Egret (Algoma): One bird was in Thessalon November 20-21.
Cattle Egret (Haldimand/Norfolk): One bird was reported along Hwy 6 between
Port Dover and Jarvis November 24 and 25.
Cattle Egret (Middlesex): The bird on Franks Lane continued to at least
November 25.
Cattle Egret (Niagara): Two birds were seen by many in Wainfleet November
19-24.
Cattle Egret (Norfolk): Up to two birds were along first concession north
of Port Rowan November 20-23.
Black Vulture (Elgin): One bird was seen just east of Port Burwell November
19 and then at Port Burwell Provincial Park November 20.
Black Vulture (Niagara): Reports of several individuals came in again this
week from Queenston.
SAY'S PHOEBE (Ottawa): The Say's Phoebe in Ottawa near the Trail Rd
landfill was reported November 19-22.
Townsend's Solitaire (Lambton): One bird was seen by many in Ipperwash
November 19-25.
Townsend's Solitaire (Thunder Bay): The bird reported previously from
Mountain Rd continued November 19-21 and was joined by a second bird
November 21.
Varied Thrush (Cochrane): One bird appeared at a feeder in Elk Lake
November 25.
Varied Thrush (Kenora): One bird was at a feeder in Wabigoon for most of
the past week, at least to November 22.
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW (Toronto): A young bird was found in Scarborough
November 19 and then seen by many after it was refound November 21 to at
least November 25.
Harris's Sparrow (Hamilton): The Inksetter Rd bird was seen by many
November 19-25.
Harris's Sparrow (Thunder Bay): One bird was on Leslie Ave, Thunder Bay
November 21.
Dickcissel (Simcoe): One bird was photographed at a Barrie backyard
November 22.
